Though prices are on the higher side, Yun nans consistently serves up good Chinese food, making it a good option for those craving this cuisine in the area. Our favourite go-to dishes are: • Poached Pork Collar with Pickled Chillies (腌菜松板肉): Flavourful and delightful with a spicy kick. • Poached Seabass in Spicy Pickled Vegetable Broth (老坛酸菜鱼): Love the sourness of the delicious broth. • Steam Pot Chicken Soup (汽锅鸡): Rich and hearty taste that can't be found elsewhere, one of the best chicken soups I've had! Love the addition of the chilli sauce to be poured over the chicken after taking it out. Service was better than the last time we came. Unfortunately, water is not free of charge here. Ambience was comfortable as well. The restaurant gets really popular during peak hours, we came early on a weekday so we were able to get a seat without any wait, but we noticed a queue forming close to dinner time. Grabpay gets you 15% off on weekdays, do utilise this if you can. Overall, food here is great, it's a pity they only have a few outlets in Singapore. I hope they are able to maintain the high standard of their food!

Nice ambience.. and food are served warm. The Steamed Pot Chicken Soup is a must try, really aromatic and not oily at all. We also had Stir Fried Eggs with Jasmine Petals, Spicy Chicken with Sichuan Peppercorns, Signature Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles and all are pleasantly tasty! Would love to come back here with my family again..

Visited at Wednesday Dinner, it was crowded, the chicken soup was good but the not outstanding, the bean curd was just average, while the stir fried mushroom were the highlight. Overall quite pricy.

Delicious food. Loved the chicken soup and fried lotus root. Taste is good, service is fast. Price is on the higher end.

Dropped by on a weekday evening for dinner. Nice relaxed vibe. Food was solid — especially the steamed pot chicken soup. Service was friendly & efficient.

A lovely Chinese restaurant with great ambiance and friendly service. The menu is quite extensive — best for groups since the dishes are meant for sharing, but there are also single-plate options like fried rice or noodles for solo diners. …

The food is packed with bold flavors and spices, perfect for those who love a strong kick. Portions are pretty ok, with each dish easily shared by two to three people. While the prices lean toward the higher side, this is a great spot to satisfy cravings for that spicy and numbing sensation.

Delicious Yunnan food at Jewel! The stir-fried minced pork with peppers was fragrant and packed with flavor. The crispy fried pork was perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender inside, especially tasty with the green chilli dipping sauce. …
