False advertising and poor service👎🏻 Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Challenger Jewel Changi. I went to purchase the Redmi Pad 2 4G, which was clearly labeled with a retail price of $279. However, at the checkout, the system reflected $299. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the staff seemed completely unsure of the pricing. I was made to wait for 10 minutes only to be told that the "promotion" had ended and the price was now $299. It isn't about the $20 difference; it’s about the principle of false advertising. For a major player like Challenger, failing to honour a displayed price—or at least updating shelf labels promptly—is unprofessional. The nonchalant attitude from the staff regarding the error was the most concerning part. I have been a long-time supporter of Challenger, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering whether I should even bother renewing my membership. It’s a shame to see such "scam tactics" from a brand I used to trust.
