Had a prepaid rental and arrived 15’ before pickup time. At the AVIS desk they informed me the car was cancelled. The reason was ‘Chinese New Year’. Although they confirmed they had cars and they had received my payment they refused to provide a car. The manager refused to talk to me ‘was in a meeting’. Really unbelievable

I have been a long time customer of Avis Singapore. The service is always fast and amazing and the quality of cars are second to none. They are always clean and in tip top condition. Some of the cars have quite a bit of mileage but am always assured that the said cars are in their best condition.

Firstly, I rented from the AVIS office in Downtown - NOT Changi Airport Terminal 3. The downtown office was easy to get to via the "Brown" or TEL train line. The staff was very welcoming, had a ready smile and the office opened 5 minutes early at 0855. The car was parked right outside their office, very clean and presented very well. Staff kindly offered a cash card which I declined. On return, staff again was with a ready smile and kindly reminded me to remove my cashcard from the ERP reader. The car handled well, was in good shape and Apple Carplay helped with my navigation. I will rent again from AVIS downtown office when I am next in Singapore. Its just such a pity that they close so early at 1700 hrs and do not have an after hours drop off service like there is in the USA. or Canada. That's my only negative comment. All AVIS offices in Singapore open 0900-1700. Otherwise, well done!

terrible service. gave us a cheaper vehicle saying "that was the only model left these days". their CS hotline did not respond to any text/call. did not have a proper S.O.P. and did not issue any invoice, not even basic notifications or clarifications, on the extra charge they charged to my card. absolutely unprofessional.
