Ding Shang Vegetarian at Changi Airport Terminal 2 offers a humble yet satisfying slice of Singapore's vegetarian hawker tradition, tucked away in the staff canteen on the 3M floor. Open to both airport staff and the public, this no-frills stall serves a variety of vegetable and mock-meat dishes in the economical rice style that is a mainstay of local food culture. Each plate is assembled to order, allowing diners to choose from an array of stir-fried greens, tofu preparations, and plant-based renditions of familiar favourites, all served with steamed rice at wallet-friendly prices. The stall caters primarily to those seeking a simple, affordable, and meat-free meal — whether for dietary, ethical, or religious reasons. Operating hours from early morning to late afternoon make it a convenient option for breakfast or lunch, though it is worth noting the more limited weekend schedule. As a canteen stall rather than a restaurant, the setting is unpretentious and functional, offering an authentic taste of everyday Singaporean dining that many visitors find refreshing amid the airport's more polished offerings.
For travellers who appreciate honest, home-style vegetarian cooking without the frills, Ding Shang Vegetarian delivers genuine sustenance at prices that are increasingly rare in an airport setting. It is a quiet reminder that the best meals often come from the most unassuming places.

Food was cold and bland, may be because i went near to their closing hours. It would be best to ask them freshly made items.

After exiting Terminal 2 immigration, exit to the parking lot on the left. There'll be a sign for the cafeteria in the corner of the parking lot. Take the elevator to 3M. It's cheaper.

The staff canteen is on the third floor. You need to take the elevator from parking lot number 2 (?) to the third floor. If you're coming from the food court on the second floor, walk south to the parking lot and take the elevator or …
